While serving as a pharmacist, she found pharmacies frustrated with inconsistencies of staffing quality. She also noticed that some pharmacists were looking for job changes, but many didn't have time to search thoroughly for themselves. When they searched for other opportunities, they were unhappy with recruiters who did not understand their needs. Chen set out to create a niche by choosing pharmacists selectively and by one who understands pharmacists, not just a trained recruiter. Her dream is that every pharmacist works in a setting where their talent is used best & they enjoy their work environment. Chen has been featured in Pharmacy Week and is a published author in the Journal of American Pharmacist Association. She is the recipient of a national award for initiating an immunization program in her area. Chen holds a PharmD from the University of Washington and a B.S. in Pharmacy from Ohio State University, where she attended on scholarship and was awarded multiple honors in her visionary leadership roles. She enjoys traveling, dancing ballet, playing the violin, meditating, and cooking. Chen is optimistic that every pharmacist can find a job that's the most suitable for his/her personality & talents. She wants every pharmacist to experience joy in their work & life.
